The “Guitar and Plucked String Instrument Library” (www.bibliotecadelaguitarra.com) was born as a tool for both interpretive work and research on the Spanish guitar. It is an educational resource that showcases the most important material on the Spanish guitar. It currently contains a database of 36,000 links and entries, with over 30,000 audio and video files, including more than 5,000 guitar scores. It also features a biographical dictionary of composers, guitarists, and other plucked-string instrument performers. It covers a wide range of topics, including historical works, guitar construction, and performance, with material on the history of the guitar, music theory, acoustics, instrumentation, and harmony, all with a focus on the guitar.
