The rules of musical interpretation in baroque era

Jean-Claude Veilhan  learned to play period instrument flutes and studied musical æsthetics of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, publishing many original compositions, transcriptions and teaching works with Éditions A. Leduc, including several methods for recorder and a reference work The Rules of Musical Interpretation in the Baroque Era, available in both English and French editions. He was one of the first in France to record on period instruments, and has performed with leading early music ensembles.
