A comparison of selected classical guitar theaching methods and a review of the implications for guitar education

The introductory  stage of classical guitar education is critically important as students gain the fundamental playing techniques and motor skills at this level. It can be seen in the literature that various guitar teaching methods have different educational approaches to g uitar education. The  purpose  of  the  present  research  is  to  maintain  the  similarities  and  differences  of  some widely used classical guitar teaching methods that were written in early nineteenth century and commonly  accepted  in  guitar  education  literature.  For  this  purpose  documentary  surveying method was used. In this context, the data of research was collected by surveying the methods and  literature.  At  the  end  of  the  article,  some  implications  and  recommendations  are  also considered by the author.
